HYBRID MODE vs. DIRECT MODE
Direct Mode - In this mode you will have basic control (Track Forward/Backward) from your factory radio buttons. You will also have full control from your iPOD controls on ALL iPODs. For this mode you will need to have DIP Switch #2 (Shown Above) in the "OFF" position.
Hybrid Mode - In this mode you will be able to control your iPOD from your factory radio and iPOD. It will not lock out your iPOD controls. You will be able to change playlist & track from the factory radio buttons and you can turn on/off random (shuffle) & repeat from the buttons too. Not all iPOD's are compatible in this mode. Please look below to see if your iPOD is compatible. For this mode you will need to have DIP Switch #2 (Shown Above) in the "ON" position.

**iPHONE & iPOD TOUCH owners can unlock the Music Section of their iPOD by Pressing and Holding the center button on the device. If you press and hold it for about 10 seconds (while the screen is locked out) it will let you use the controls in the music section. After you do this, you will not be able to control it from the radio until you disconnect your iTOUCH or iPHONE and reconnect it to the iPOD connector.
